Gregory Roti joined CleanSource Capital in 2020 as a Managing Director where he helps to lead execution of the overall strategy. Mr. Roti brings 15 years of experience leading investment banking, investment management, structured lending, and asset aggregation strategies in the real estate, credit, and energy industries.
Prior to joining CleanSource, Mr. Roti was Head of US Residential Real Estate Debt at Man Global Private Markets where he led a $2Bn strategy focused upon senior debt real estate investments for an international, institutional investor base. During his time at Man GPM, Mr. Roti redesigned all aspects of the residential real estate debt strategy to turnaround the investment platform and launch 3 new residential debt focused funds with up to $425MM of commitments.
Prior to joining Man GPM in 2018, Mr. Roti spent six years at Wells Fargo Securities in the Structure Lending group where he was the lead banker responsible for the start-up and growth of the investor loan financing platform eventually growing exposure to $700mm sourcing $2Bn of investor loans. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Roti spent six years at two boutique investment banks focused on capital raising efforts for alternative and conventional energy companies. Mr. Roti graduated from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2005.
